CASE STUDY – RESIDENTIAL CRUISE LINE, LTD.

CHALLENGE:

Residential Cruise Line, LTD is on the forefront of an emerging industry of bringing luxury travel and homeownership together, to a target market of affluent and discerning buyers. The Brick House challenge was to illustrate floor plans that accurately interpret the luxury the client envisions.

BHM SOLUTION:

Actual swatches of granite were used to color the countertops, travertine and carpets for the floors, and teak for the deck and outdoor furnishings. Brick House was provided with photographs of custom inlaid dining tables and upholstery that convey the richness of style and texture the homes have to offer.

These selections were sampled through high-resolution scanning and digital photography. Furniture and appliances were illustrated to exactly match the client’s ideal space. Finally, all the pieces were brought together to complete the illustrated floor plan.

RESULT:

Residential Cruise Line, LTD use these illustrations as effective communication tools for print, web and television marketing. The floor plans have been included in their international advertising campaign, direct mail collateral, interactive multimedia DVD’s and a television interview with CNN.

The floor plans have been invaluable tool for sales team. Allowing them to convey the concept of a residence aboard what is destined to be the worlds most luxurious cruise ship ever built.
